About me

I’m Roberto. I was born in Brescia and grew up between my hometown and Milan. I started taking pictures at sixteen, then, in true “you can’t make a living from photography” fashion, I tried studying something else. I never fell in love with it the same way, and in the end I came to a different conclusion: you make a living from what you truly love doing.

I’ve been photographing weddings since 2016. I started this business on my own, and that’s why it carries my name. Then Ilaria, my partner in life and work, began helping me out, and today she photographs alongside me at almost every wedding. So no old-fashioned “the man’s name goes on the sign” logic here: it’s simply a matter of who got there first. If you choose me, you’ll most likely meet her too: two pairs of eyes on the same day.

Today we live between Brescia and Lake Garda. When we’re not behind the camera, you’ll find us on the motorbike or travelling in our van. And then there’s little Leo, not even one year old: the only person we ever ask to pose. With very poor results. Plus a fiercely adorable Lionhead dwarf rabbit.

One more thing: I can’t stand anything even remotely snobbish. Not at weddings, not anywhere.
