What data we collect and why

1. Enquiries and quotes

When you write to us through the contact form, by email or by phone, we collect the details you give us: name, email, phone number, wedding date and venue, and your message. We use them only to reply, give you information and prepare a quote.
Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Retention: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and no longer than 24 months if no booking follows.

2. Clients

If you book us, we process the data needed for the contract, the delivery of your photographs and our tax obligations.
Legal basis: performance of the contract and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Retention: for the duration of the relationship and for the 10 years required by Italian tax law.

3. Spam protection on the contact form

The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA (Google Ireland Ltd.) to tell people apart from automated programs. The service may collect technical data such as your IP address and browser information.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Ad measurement and social content

Only if you give your consent through the cookie banner, the website activates the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.), which measures how well our Facebook and Instagram ads perform, and shows content from our Instagram profile. Without consent these tools stay blocked.
Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time from the “Preferenze cookie” (cookie preferences) link at the bottom of every page.

5. Cookies

For details on the cookies used by this website and how to manage your preferences, see the Cookie policy.

Who can see your data

Your data is never sold or passed on to third parties for marketing. Only the technical providers that keep the website running (hosting, email) and our accountant may access it, and only as far as necessary, acting as data processors or independent controllers.

Transfers outside the European Union

Google and Meta may process some data in the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Your rights

At any time you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable format (Articles 15-22 GDPR), and withdraw any consent you have given. Just write to info@robertocesari.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
